We are a family run business whose roots are of African origin, and culture is to help and provide care to those who seek for it making the care plans and client relationships very personal for us. We have over 20 years in nursing and expert clinical healthcare experience, this means that together with our culture and background we pride ourselves to provide only the best possible quality of care for our clients.

At Imba-Roots we strive to house and care for those who require a helping hand to become integrated with the community. Our aim is to inspire confidence in individuals by helping them gain essential life skills through compassionate, dedicated care and guidance. We believe everyone has the right to live their life to its fullest and we make it our mission to help you get there. We take your goals and aspirations on board and incorporate them into your personalised care plan.

At Imba-Roots  we are a regulated personal care provider. This means our personal care activities are  regulated, inspected and rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The regulated activities of personal care consists of the provision of personal care and support  for people who are unable to provide it for themselves, because of old age, illness or disability This is provided to them in place where those people are living at the time when the care is provided.

We are also a  commissioned service, meaning in some cases care, support and supervision has been arranged and paid for on a client’s behalf by a public authority such as:

• In the case of personal care, a local authority adult social care department.
• In the case of housing-related support, a local authority housing department.
• In the case of nursing care, the NHS.

The client might have to make a means-tested contribution to the cost of the service, but the commissioning body makes the arrangements and the contract is between the commissioning body and the care/support provider.
